Notable engagements have included performances of the Grainger Tribute to Foster for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra under Sir Andrew Davis (and a subsequent recording for Chandos Records), the role of Ercole (Giasone) for Pinchgut Opera, El Cantor (María de Buenos Aires) for Victorian Opera, Keeper of the Madhouse (The Rake’s Progress) for the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, the Schubert Schwanengesang for Art Song Canberra, the Buxtehude Membra Jesu Nostri for the Melbourne Festival, the Michael Haydn Requiem with the Australian Haydn Ensemble, a fourth consecutive invitation to the Peninsula Summer Musical Festival, several concert appearances for Bach Musica NZ, plus recitals with Songmakers Australia at the Port Fairy Spring Music Festival, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Melbourne Recital Centre and for Musica Viva Australia. In addition to maintaining a busy freelance performance schedule, Nick has also established a reputation as a gifted and sensitive teaching artist.
